Dr. Brewer received his doctorate in 1994 from Southern Illinois University and is the founder and director of Serenity MedSpa, as well as Prairie Family Medicine & Obstetrics located in Forrest, IL. Serenity has been offering esthetic services to central Illinois since December of 2006. Dr. Brewer specializes in facial injectables, fractional skin resurfacing, PDO threads and Votiva. Dr Brewer is at our 2 Yount Drive location
Karen has been with Serenity MedSpa since its opening in 2007. Karen is a trained Jane Iredale Make Up Consultant, and she also has extensive knowledge of the Serenity Skin Solutions product line, our Ortho Molecular, and Standard Process supplements. Karen’s favorite services are Botox and filler, and she loves our Jane Iredale Makeup line.
Stephanie Kim has been a licensed esthetician since 1997. She has advanced training in Votiva, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, chemical peels and waxing. She has been an owner of her own Day Spa, but more recently she has expanded her knowledge and credentials by working in a Dermatology office for the past 7 years. She has lived and worked in Bloomington for 26 years.

Meet Valerie Duby, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Valerie brings over 9 years of nursing experience and recently earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from Illinois State University. As a dedicated mom of two, she’s passionate about helping others look and feel their best. At Serenity MedSpa, Valerie specializes in Botox and dermal fillers, focusing on enhancing natural beauty with a personalized, client-centered approach. She is also extensively trained in Ortho Molecular supplements and products, offering wellness solutions that support whole-body health from the inside out. In addition, Valerie is certified in performing a variety of dermatology procedures, further expanding the high-quality care available to our clients.
Natalie is a skilled and compassionate LPN at Serenity MedSpa, bringing expertise and a patient-focused approach to every treatment. With a passion for helping clients look and feel their best, Natalie specializes in hair restoration, CoolSculpting, and B12 injections.
